Elma Fud
Now that I've learned to resize pictures. Here is last saturdays outing. We had two hides, and shot 150 birds exactly most of the birds were Rooks but we accounted for a number of crows as well.

Elma Fud
I put 15 dead rooks on craddles. However, the birds which came to the pattern were very reluctant to land. Most birds were shot 30+ yards If you get the pattern just right the birds should come straight in and land without calling to the birds on the ground. But on this day the birds were calling as they approached and would only come to the edge of the pattern. No matter what I done to the pattern it didn't make any difference. For a hide. I used some old wooden gates. I placed them in a triangle, placed some camo netting to thicken it up and placed a gate on top to act as a roof. Only standing up to take the shot. It worked well.
