misty00 Posted June 2, 2007 Report Share Posted June 2, 2007 I've just recently dusted off my BSA super sport and thought about getting another springer. i was looking at a cometa 400 : Are they any good? can u get spares for it easily? is there a better one cheaper or for the same price? can i tune it above 12 easily once i get my FAC certificate? need help any comments please! Keith Posted June 4, 2007 Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 Yes - definitely. I've got the fenix 400 S carbine style rifle (.22) with a Hawke 4x32 scope. It's v accurate, v powerful and with the silencer it's pretty quiet at the target end of things. Good range - can hit with power over 40 yards - and generally a nice solid feel. I shoot pigeons and magpies with it and don't find it needs much adjusting. Haven't had to have it repaired yet or to look for spares. Got mine from Scott Country and it arrived less than 48 hours after ordering over the phone and cost around £175 a year ago. I'd go for it.
