I've just recently dusted off my BSA super sport and thought about getting another springer. i was looking at a cometa 400 :

Are they any good?

can u get spares for it easily?

is there a better one cheaper or for the same price?

can i tune it above 12 easily once i get my FAC certificate?

need help any comments please!

Yes - definitely. I've got the fenix 400 S carbine style rifle (.22) with a Hawke 4x32 scope. It's v accurate, v powerful and with the silencer it's pretty quiet at the target end of things. Good range - can hit with power over 40 yards - and generally a nice solid feel.

 

I shoot pigeons and magpies with it and don't find it needs much adjusting. Haven't had to have it repaired yet or to look for spares. :lol:

 

Got mine from Scott Country and it arrived less than 48 hours after ordering over the phone and cost around £175 a year ago.

 

I'd go for it.
