Savhmr
I think that you've answered your own question The following Hogdon powders will no longer be imported as from 1st June 2018: Varget, Bench Mark, BLC2, H1000, H322, H335, H380, H414, H4198, H4350, H4831, H4831SC, H4895, H50BMG, LEVERevolution, Superformance, US869, Hybrid100V, Trail Boss and Retumbo. There are a few exceptions such as Lil Gun and possibly CFE 223 which have yet to be checked for compliance. ALL IMR powders except for the new Enduron range will not be imported either. The new powders are 4166, 4451 and 7977 All Winchester powders. There's no panic yet though as plenty of supplies remain in the UK and its not illegal to buy them, only to import them from 1/6/2018, so the advice is to carry on using whatever you use until supplies dry up. As far as reloading guides go, there's plenty of REACH compliant grades left, including all of the European made powders such as Vhit, Reload Swiss, Ramshot and Lovex Powders, Alliant ATK powders (reloader rifle grades made by Nitrochemie in Europe), Hogdon Pyrodex, IMR pistol grades, Bofors and a few other. Vhit have a good reloading manual available on-line, and RS are playing catch up and have made a good start in their on-line guides split between their own load data and customer submitted load data (They willalso run QL predictions for those enquiring AFAIK). There will still be plenty of choice and most people should find a good alternative in currently available European manufactured powders. In answer to the question, if a new reloading manual contains plenty of data for the list of REACH compliant powders that will still be importable after next June, then it obviously will be useful for the calibres and powders covered.
