danielsonson Posted June 18, 2007 Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 I am selling my Steve Parker converted BEAST of a Series 3 88inch Landrover. She is kitted out with modular 16inch wheels and BIG Amazon mud tyres on Rangie Diffs and free wheeling hubs. She has Snorkel, Light Bar and Spots, Tow Bar, New Bucket seats with 4 point harnesses, cubby box, MP3 CD and Speakers, bullbar, Defender Front conversion. She is in very good condition although the previous owner did a rubbish job of painting her with a brush! in black. I don't mind it but if I every met the vagrant I would string him up for doing her an injustice. She has had recent outriggers and last month I put new plugs, oil and air filters with a full grease up all over and under her. She also has a liesure battery (not wired up) and a Facet extra electric fan (manual switch) This is one hell of a wrokhorse/shooting wagon (which was her primary use until now). The Ford Essex V6 is a great conversion which enabled me to drive 200 miles from birmingham averaging 75mph and used only half a tank of fuel! There are some bits which need attention: Speedo doesn't work but I have a new speedo cable Wrong Temp Sender New Exhaust or repair Tax Exempt!!!! and only costs me £130 a year to insure. So what do you reckon shall we say £1300?
