SNAKEBITE
I use the cranes on the pier. 50p a go and try to get a teddy! Not very good at it though so perhaps i'm not the one to ask.

DirtyDeeds
I use gantry cranes at work. I'm a train engineer and often the roof sections have to be lifted off to allow access to other equipment which also has to be hoisted out. My company is moving to a new depot in October - I have just finished a familiarisation course for the new cranes I'll be using. The training also includes not just how to operate the crane and make safe lifts, but also covers being a banksman and a slinger, and both of their duties.
