Redm0002
The last two shoots held over the Christmas and New Year period were attended by a combined total of 75 guns. Obviously people needed to get out and away fro the festivities. To maintain these numbers through the year would be a fantastic boost to the shoot. Saturday 06 January 2018 sees the first shoot in the New Year. Shoots will continue every two weeks right through the year from this date. £16 for a 60 bird Sporting Clay shoot. £13 for a second round. SGC required. NOTE: Fibre wad cartridges only, max shot size 7. Rio 28g 8s are available for £4:50 / box of 25. Can be bought in bulk (£45/250)(£180/1000) Shoot starts at 12:30, currently last ticket is 15:00. The sight is best approached from the Harpenden to St Albans Road (A1081) via Beesonend Lane. Follow the Brown Fishery and Black and White Shoot signs down the lane for 1 mile. Redm0002
Jody The next shoot is Saturday 20/01/18 and every second Saturday after that right through the year. 32 guns attended on the 06th Jan, another great turnout. It would be good to see you. If you have any like minded friends, be sure to bring them along. You can shoot in your own group or join one, they are a sociable lot. I have a game shoot that morning so may not get there until 14:00ish. Be sure to introduce yourself to the owner John Dunckley and mention you saw the post on Pigeonwatch. Hope to see you there.
