This is an original 5 shot Browning Auto 5 Semi Auto Shotgun - the original model that uses and John Browning’s long recoil version where the whole barrel travels back to reload the next cartridge, and which is designed to handle medium up to magnum loads by adjusting the friction ring setting inside the forend. It is also the model manufactured by FN which brings a unique buttplate and a whole build level above the later Japanese Miroku Auto 5's. A lot of the Auto 5’s in the UK have been restricted down to a 2 cartridge magazine tube capacity to be held on a Shotgun Certificate – this one is original and as such is held on a Firearms Certificate (FAC).
