If you can 'show good cause' that you need a .243 for deer, then I can not see any reason why you would also

want a .22-250 for fox?? Just have fox and deer placed under the .243 and save yourself a lot of money. After all, a .243

can do everything a .22-250 can do....just faster and with heavier bullets.

i agree a 243 is more than capable of taking a fox and a deer ( thats why ii have it for both on my ticket), but a 22-250 is a much flatter shooting round than a 243 at long distance,

Then i stand corrected boys - i was always told by a very good friend and excellent shot that a 22-250 was a much flatter shooting round than a 243 and is a better dedicated foxing round.

i run 55 grainers through my 243 and have hit some pretty damn good shots with it - so mabye a change to a 22-250 is not the answer ??
