tulkyuk
If you can 'show good cause' that you need a .243 for deer, then I can not see any reason why you would alsowant a .22-250 for fox?? Just have fox and deer placed under the .243 and save yourself a lot of money. After all, a .243 can do everything a .22-250 can do....just faster and with heavier bullets. i agree a 243 is more than capable of taking a fox and a deer ( thats why ii have it for both on my ticket), but a 22-250 is a much flatter shooting round than a 243 at long distance,
MilDot
Ive just been granted a 22-250 for fox, asked to have deer added but was told to reapply for the deer part when the legislation changes. Also granted 7mm purely for deer and fox when stalking.

tulkyuk
Then i stand corrected boys - i was always told by a very good friend and excellent shot that a 22-250 was a much flatter shooting round than a 243 and is a better dedicated foxing round. i run 55 grainers through my 243 and have hit some pretty damn good shots with it - so mabye a change to a 22-250 is not the answer ??
