Mr Slater
As I've said elsewhere I'm back decoying pigeon after a break of 15 years, things have changed a bit.................... I've ordered a magnet (my home made one failed miserably ) and a speed control for it. I bought the speed control mainly to save battery life but I've been thinking, does the speed of the magnet make any difference to the birds willingness/lack of to come in? Cushat
Birds were definitely reluctant to come in a couple of weeks ago for me until I speeded the magnet up a bit, so I'd say yes. Like most things though, there are days when they'll come in regardless of what you do wrong and other days they'll not even when you think everything is perfect!!
