hi, my Bsa hornet got sent down to bsa last week for a repair :whistling: and all the bunnys are laughing at me so i decided to get out my old springer its a webley vulcan with a short barrel, but when i mount my sidewinder scope onit i try to sight it in at 25 yards and it shoots low. but the up adjustment is up as far as it can go. ive tryed loads of things. ie 5 mag, and re mounting it but nothing works has any one had this before and is there a cure?

Try reversing the mounts ie front to back and the back mount at the front......if that does not work you could try centering the windage and elevation turrets then shim the mounts with a piece of film negative. This could be caused by older style springers having a slight barrel droop that new scopes cannot account for.
