Conor O'Gorman
We are asking shooters to take part in a wing survey and send us the wings of any duck, geese and woodcock shot during the 2020/21 season. The data we collect from the wings you send allows us to identify population trends, gather information on age and gender ratios of the UK populations, as well as spot potential issues, such as declining numbers of young birds, which would indicate possible problems on the breeding grounds. Over time, all this data will help us demonstrate that shooters only take a sustainable portion of wild duck, geese and woodcock.
