Suitable for spaniels and retrievers £8.50 The Cocker man by Hedly Millington-- Heres a review--This is a great book detailing the life of a man dedicated to working Cocker Spaniels. The book details how Mr Millington first encountered the breed and gives some good thinking points to the training and understanding of these great little dogs! A truly enthralling read, with some "controversial" insights as to how not to treat a dog, the author leave you in no doubt that the way some dogs are treated is nothing less than barbaric. He set the record straight as to how these dogs need to be nurtured and that the old school dog men might not know best when it comes to being "hard" with these dogs. The book is written in such a style that keeps you interested, from the days that stick in his mind to the days when the cockers are just, well "Cockers".
