I live right on the outskirts of Coventry, about half a mile from Corley, and am desperate for shooting land!

Im 17 and own a .22 BSA Supersport air rifle with Hawke nite-eye 3-9x44 scope, and I am also thinking of getting hold of a licence for a shotgun.

I'll soon be asking shooters around my area if they need any help with beating, anything to give me some experience!

The only quarry shooting experience i've had is shooting the rats that are taking over our chicken run, but I am keen to start on pigeons and rabbits...purely as the idea of 'living off the land' appeals to me greatly.

I am fairly young, but am also very eager to gain experience.

You have to start somewhere i guess! <_<

Cheers.

Nice one Joe,

I'd get into Clay shooting first , you dont need a licence for that (provided you go to a proper club that is) and you'll meet people into pigeon shooting and get to be a good shot to,

You might find BASC membership will open doors

See how you get on

Its good to see new blood on the forum "Welcome"
