daddypigsaw
Just to let all those struggling with a bad patch, a 'plateau' or just shooting ****; stick at it! You will get through it! I've had two/three months in the doldrums. It's been miserable. If it wasn't for the excellent company and the brilliant staff that run Lowes Lane SG in Derbyshire, I think I could have given up completely. Member's night last night at Lowes - I'm shooting 22 for skeet and 43 for 50 sporting. We also had a bash at the 25 compak into the setting sun. Three birds were crossing it. I had a crescent-shaped retina burn from tracking the clays. Shooting into the sun I still came away with 22. Didn't win Annie Oakley but came away with a crate of beer from the raffle. Overall a real confidence booster, so looking forward to Saturday.
paulos
Good to hear you're out of the rut, I've been in the same boat for a couple of months over the summer too and its frustrating as hell. Out of it now though and scores are back up again Just try and forget about bad scores and concentrate on the next target, think about missing and you will!
