Advice on FAC Variation (N.Ireland)

i already have a 17 hmr,and was thinking of a cz 22 rimfire for quiter use early mornings,(subsonics).the lands that i shoot on aren't that big there is always houses close by, do i have to get permission on new land or do i use the land i already have,iv'e heard of some cases where the police have asked for one rimfire to be taken off before they issue another one,any thoughts or views please,cheers

My mate had a 22 on his cert and asked for a 17 HMR. The PSNI told him he could have the HMR if he had the 22 taken off. The FEO said he had no need to have both guns on his cert. When the FEO was out with me checking the land for the 22 he also cleared it for centrefire but said I would have to wait six months (November) before I applied for one. He said once I got six moths experience with the 22 he would be happy to give me a centrefire for foxes.

it's not rite when the cops say you have to take one of to get one on,they all have there uses,diff ranges diff power,(when you go golfing you can't use one club)you need a bag full,.,.i wonder if i took my spring airrifle off would that help???.... Dazza when i applied for my 17hmr i put on the form,the land owner is giving me permission to use 17hmr,22 rimfire,centrefire,would i already be cleared for diff calibers.:blink:

I'm not sure but I think they come out for each caliber, the've got nothing else to do since the troubles ended :good:
