Welshpestcontroller
I have seen a 1300 XTR to add to my collection and was wondering if the parts for the SXP are interchangeable? especially the ejector, as I know they can snap with extended use. I believe the SXP is based on the 1300.
Captain Skellen
Hi there. I have a Winchester 1200 from the late 1960’s . The action bar assembly broke on my gun 3 years ago. I had a look to see if the assembly from the SXP would fit, it would not and there were quite a few differences on the bolt too. I managed to get a replacement from a company in the US called Classic Firearm Parts . They were happy to ship to the UK too. There are also differences between the 1200 and 1300 ejectors depending on era. One other thing to consider is that the the US guns will be made using the Imperial system, whereas the SXP is I believe made in Turkey so will be made to metric dimensions.
