tosspot
Shot a reg Sportrap at the weekend at my local clay ground and witnessed some fine shooting from a guy using an unusual fully moderated 12 auto that he'd built himself (the latest of several) the gun had an unusually large shroud of maybe 5-6" in diameter but most interestingly the point of aim was barely affected as the top of the shroud stood only a few mm over the top of the barrel as opposed to being concentric as all the others i have seen internally a system of baffles was incorporated with angles and configuration being experimented with this was certainly the quietest 12 bore i have ever heard and it was using standard 28gr clay shells and the guy shooting posted a 22ex25 on the layout the chassis was Benelli (inertia) and may go into full production soon i own a Hushpower .410 and am happy with it but have been disappointed with "silenced" 12 bores that i have seen or borrowed in the past, this one was impressive TP
vole
Interesting but it sounds a helluva lump to carry. My 12g hushpower has been a challenge to get used to shooting with but is light despite the 2 in mod.Never missed much despite the concentric barrel/moderator.Saying that I dont attempt shots that I would with my other guns.
