Graham M
Hi does anybody know if it is possible to convert top lever opening on a lanber sporter from right hand to left hand opening? You would need a left-handed top lever to start with. Once that had been sourced (if they make them that is) you would then require a bolt that was made to accept this left-handed top lever because the old bolt would be the wrong way around. If they do make left-handed Lambers than you should be able to get the parts, but it may require a gunsmith to fit them if you aren’t mechanically minded. Oh almost forgot; you would also need to move the top lever spring over to the opposite side of the top strap in order to make the top lever work. this would require making a recess in the top strap to accept the spring lug. Consequently the stock would need cutting to accept the new top-lever spring position. Still want to do it? G.M.
