Purpose made from 2" x 2" 10 gauge (3mm) copper washed weld mesh. This is far less noticeable than the usual bright galvanised finish and when placed against brambles or branches is very discreet. The surface rust finish shown on the photos is intentional and cosmetic only, the trap is structurally sound. Bait operated, the trigger is very light and releases at around 5oz pressure. A couple of wires in the base have a break from when I had to pull the trap across some logs. This doesn't affect it's security at all but I will overlay with additional mesh if wanted. £60.00 picked up from Sheffield area.
