donkeymagic
Has anybody heard of or experianced problems with the regulator on the BSA Hornet?
Fisherman Mike
No... And I have had one since they were first introduced... The regulator was designed by John Bowkett to give great consistancy over the range of shots. I have put probably 4000 plus pellets through mine and recharged it from a compressed air cylinder over 50 times and have had no trouble at all to date. last week with a barrel fixed bipod I loosed over 50 shots at a 1" diameter target from 35m and only two fell outside the ring. That is pretty consistant shooting. FM.
1 of 5
I've had mine since September (rifle length) and it's been faultless bar an ingress of water into the hammer area which required a skimming of the delrin hammer carrier as it'd swelled with the water. This is entirely due to the skeleton stock I use on the gun and wouldn't have happened in the std. stock. The symptoms of this are notchy cocking and awful power consistency.
