Conor O'Gorman
News from the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE): A groundbreaking survey by YouGov, commissioned by FACE and partner organisations, reveals that a majority of Europeans accept international hunting practices, often mislabelled as “trophy” hunting. Only 23% of respondents disagree with the retention of animal parts, challenging the widespread notion of opposition. This is a pivotal moment for understanding public attitudes towards hunting and its role in conservation and local economies. The results are a call for more informed discussions and policies in line with actual societal views. https://www.face.eu/2024/01/new-survey-sheds-light-on-european-acceptance-of-so-called-trophy-hunting/
