SGC renewal, Gloucestershire.

It is easy to be negative so I thought I would be positive. My SGC expired at the end of Feb. Got the notifications from the Police at the end of the year and even handed the doctors note over and had it back in time. I then sat on it, purely because I was busy and forgot and didn't post it until just after Christmas. Had to ask about the progress in mid Feb as all was quiet but it was done on time and the "interview" was done over the phone in a few minutes. I have gained quite a few guns over the life of the expiring ticket but they came with cabinets. When I explained this all was great. I think the officer was wondering how 16 guns went into 3 cabinets. They are now  in five and all can take 6 at a push.

In conversation I mentioned that they were mostly from two family deaths and would be cleared out soon. He said that as they were mostly cheapies, stuff like Midland BLNE 12s and single barrel 12s it might not be worth selling them. I agreed but didn't want to pay a dealer to scrap them. (as my local ones want to do).He suggested seriously wrecking them with an angle grinder and emailing pics of this to him and he would be most happy with that.

All round good experience.
