situndertree
For sale a well used Browning Skeet gun, Belgium made. This belonged to my late father who used it for clay, game, pigeon and duck shooting. 2 3/4" chambers, 26.25" barrels, 14.25" Length of pull, 7lb 6oz or thereabout. Skeet and Skeet fixed chokes. Many years ago he slipped whilst climbing a stone wall which resulted in the broken stock. A friend mended it for him and he used it for years after. The crack of the break can be seen in the photos. It is a working shotgun with plenty of life left in it if used with care with the stock fix as is or if you have the skills to improve the fix. Complete with original box and instructions. Looking for £185 Pictures to follow..

situndertree
If i remember correct my dad bought it around 1970/71. I was with him as a lad at the time when he went into a gunshop in Nottingham. A guy had gone in selling it to the proprietor whilst we were there and he had only had it for a short time so it was virtually brand new when my dad bought it. So perhaps late 1960's. It operates fine and the cracked stock shouldnt be a functional issue with normal respectful handling. As mentioned my late father used it for years in that condition.
