pigeonbloke
I am thinking of buying a pump action Mossberg Hushpower shotgun. Has anyone out there got a Hushpower Mossberg? Are they worth buying, and do they take 3 inch or 3.5 inch cartridges for use with the spare barrel that comes with the package, and are they steel shot proofed? Thanks
strudwick
Hi I dont have one but i would gess to get the full efect from it you will need to use subconic shot gun shells, i did get some of theas meany years ago and thay are not as good for kills and when giving leed on a moving target it will be difrent as the shot is moving more slowly .. So if you need subsonics bigger ammor is irelivent unless it will quietonwork well with normel ammo ( supersonic ) dut i would think not . hope this helps
vole
I,m pretty sure they are based on the Mossberg 500 so if you check them out to see if they will take the longer cartridge. They are quite a bit quieter with normal ones but subs much quieter. big simmo999
seen one being used with normal 12 bore cartridges and they are not really that quiet. I think sub sonic ammo is a must. You would struggle to get 3.5 inch cartridges in sub sonic though
