DaveK
hi there everyone i have been looking at the range of bettinsolis on the market today and i just wanted to know wat everyone else thought of them. thanks A good solid shotgun that seemed to be out of fashion but is making a comeback. I found the one I tried a bit heavy but it pointed well and. as far as I know, never malfunctioned for the owner.

08shooter
i had a diamondline ,it was a great little gun and to be honest i shot the best with it.have fond memories of it and wished i had nt sold it.i would have no problems buying another. try for a mint 2nd hand one as you would nt lose as much if you sold it. Keith
verminshooter - how would you rate the Franchi Raptor? I'm thinking of getting a semi-auto or pigeons and ducks and the raptor looks good value. But is it a good gun?
farmerguy.22
Had a Silverline, sold it for a 686. It was a lovely gun which i shot well with for a couple of years then started missing everything so traded it in, but that wasnt no fault of the guns!! Wouldnt hesitate to buy another. Ferretboy111
Farmerguy.22 dont forget the problems of the firings pins shooting both cartridges at the same time on occasions and the ejectors occasionally popping out live cartridges instead of shot ones. I can remember both barrels fired together only once when shauny b was using it, and yup it did occasionaly chuck the live cartridge out, aswell as or instead off the fired one but in general the gun was good. It pointed nicely and had lovely engraving and wood on it. Not sure if it was only my gun that had the ejecting problems or wether it is universal on all bettinsoli's but i would buy another at the right price as it handled so nicely. FB, you too thought it was a nice gun if i remember correctly?

But is it a good gun? i am now on my 3rd 712,i really rate this little gun after i sold my last one only a few weekswent past before i bought this one.it comes cased with 3 chokes(same as beretta mobil chokes)it is the easiest semi to clean without a doubt.its a brilliant gun for vermin and i shot 3 23s with it on the skeet last week.light enough to carry all day too.i chop and change guns all the time but i reckon these are good value for money and well worth a look.none of them has ever missed a beat and cycle everything i put through them.smart looking gun.had 130 odd crows the first morning i took this one out so its well up to the job. cant reccomend one highly enough
