benelli 1
I gather there are a few people that have bought deerhunter items before. It's just that i recieved my montana today from a known supplier (new) i might add, but i was a little disappointed to find that the stitching has come away from one of the velcro strips on the hood already and i haven't even worn it outside yet ...and on closer inspection the stitching is a little suspect in alot of places. Also there are bits of thread that are dangling from all places some 2 or three inches long. Other than these probs i really like the jacket but just wanted to know if this is the norm from deerhunter or have i just got a dickey one?...i will contact the supplier but just wanted to hear what you guys have to say. This is my first piece of deerhunter clothing so first impressions count. I have to say for a 130 quid jacket i expected a little better
starlight32
I bought a new montana, put a handful of cartridges in both side pockets, and they promptly fell apart. Took it back got another one and it did the same and the stitching came out of the hood. Took that one back and got me money back. Good ones and bad ones I suppose..... Holland&Holland
I have a deerhunter jacket, put loads of cartridges in the pockets, stitching holds, just a little tear in the fabric itself where the stiching is in the jacket . My dad repaired it luckily. Apart from that i like the jacket (and matching trousers) a lot. It is not the montana though. (so maybe not a very usefull post after all )
pob
I have deerhunter Montana jacket and trousers. They are 1 year old and I've had no problems......I love 'em. Even if the jacket cost £30, it's unacceptable for stitching to fall apart from new. I'm sure the manufacturers will sort you out a quality controlled one. Just mention that you visit the forums and discuss kit.......................it might focus their attention. See if they''ll throw in a free Cameleon hat. I take size 58.
