caeser
Roost shooting is always a good one on the piggies with the air rifle I agree with BSA Shaun. If you can find a wood where the pigeon roost during the day between feeds, then you should have some sport. Decoying is very difficult with an air rifle, because you are relying on the pigeon landing. I used to shoot pigeon with an air rifle, used decoys etc. The roosting wood was always a lot more productive. If you can get a couple of lofted decoys up high, then thats even better. I used to get mine high using an old cricket ball with some braided fishing line attached. throw it up into the tree tops , then pull up the decoys and tie them into place. Try everything, it's the best way to learn.
