salisburykeeper
american ebay is the best, so go to ebay.com rather than .co.uk . I brought a camo realtree jacket off there for $30 and $15 postage so what would have been £80.00 in the shops over here cost just £22 to my door! Floating Chamber
american ebay is the best, so go to ebay.com rather than .co.uk . Especially if you have a Remington 1100. A carrier-latch over here will set you back over twenty quid plus postage. Numrich e-parts sell them for $7 plus export fee of £5 and £1.80 postage. That's about seven quid in total.
JohnGalway
I bought a new Lightforce Blitz 240 for 104 Euro on Ebay, it's being sent from Australia to my door and that's the entire cost including shipping. Here, I'd have to travel a minimum of 100 miles round trip, plus time plus 145 Euro to buy one... Hmmm, yeah, had to think a long time about that one didn't I? There are a LOT of bargains to be had online. Got a rangefinder for Conor, Leica CRF 900, for 290 Euro LESS than it costs here in Ireland, again delivered to the DOOR. Where, Ebay! Got NV monocular for over 100 Euro less than it costs here or in the UK. Ebay again. Google is always my first stop when I go looking for something. If I can't find it there then I always ask on here and other forums I use for good spots, most will come by PM. Second hand on the for sale section here and on the BBS is good too, just be sure of who you buy from, if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is. Not sure what the current rulz are here for mentioning trading sites but like I say if you Google you will find. It's worth spending and evening trawling around doing searches and asking. Biggest problem I run into is US paranoia and difficulty in getting certain items out to all us foreign ter-a-wrists (seems to include anyone outside the land of the freedumb fry). Some things are still woth buying local-ish, if you think you may need to use the warranty etc. if it's really expensive.
