Big Dog
Nope! My Winchester .222 brass has a good home. Well cleaned, trimmed and filled up again, sounds like me at the weekend Hope you get some. What are you loading up with and what gun? This is what I am using and testing at present: - Winchester brass - Hornada V-max pill - CCI primers - Varget power - 23.5g load - COL - can't remember Look at my signature for my gun. Groups depends on me mostly, but have had several 1/2 group @ 100mtrs and one fox . So I will load up more to see what happens.

Loading for a t3 varmint, see sporting pictures for gun and its last victim. I have been using federal brass cci primers n130 powder-21grns 50grn v-max or 55grn speer sp I have had one hole groups with the v-max loads and am going to moy shortly to get some n133 and 40grn v-max to see what they can do. Where do you get your loading supplies?I find stocks are quite erratic and it pays to buy plenty when they have stock in,nobody near me has any v-max at the minute. Big Dog
Hi scallopdiver, I didn't realise you were from the home country until you mentioned Moy. So far I have been getting my stuff from 2 palces: Power and CCI primers from Stephen Mc Kerr (Mc Kerr's Hardware Union Street Lurgan (3834 3021) I also got A-max 6.5x55 bullets too. He has a range of powers and may have what you want. He did't have many 6.5 pills, no idea what in .222. But he is a really good all round guy, quick to order too. I bought .222 V-max from Tannyoky guns Pointspass (3831 8308) They have a stack of stuff and will most likely have anything you want. You may find them a little more pricey but against that give you choice. Pointspass is other side of Banbridge. You could go through Portadown/Lurgan out to Tandergee and then P,pass. They are 5 mins from the village but best to call them from village and they will direct you. If you are driving up, I guess more West, take a 12g and have a go at their very varied clay pigeon shoot; skeet range, sporting, DTL. All can be operated solo. So there you go, a great day out in Co. Down (Watch you don't get A-max. I am not sure about A-max. I have heard conflicting info from shooters and the factor spec not clear to me either. Thie look like V-max but as I understand don't expand as quick. Some say use only for target; what I am using them for. Other say shoot small med game. Honestly I don't know so will only shoot paper with them. V-max on the other hand, you know what they can do) Hope this is helpful Edited February 8, 2008 by Big Dog

duey
I know what you mean but I suppose that because i reload for four different rifles I get enough to do just reloading without looking for more to do, having said that I am about to change from balistic tips to Gamekings for my stalking rifle and to find a hunting load for my 300Wmag but once I find a suitable load I useually stick with what works and concentrate on consisitancy in my loading methods good luck finding your next load Ian
