Si-Bore
Hey guys Tried a shoot today and ended up packing up as the birds were not in my fields and did some much needed reconnaissance instead. The south westerly wind puts the birds right over the fields I shoot on but today it was a SE wind and not one flew over the normal feeding field of rape. Instead I watched them fly between the local woods and a field in the distance about 1/2 mile away. They did this all day and never even looked over the fields they normally hit. It was an eye opener for me and I found it very interesting. The 'light' wind is swinging back to the usual direction tomorrow so I have my fingers crossed that they will hit my field in the morning. I am going to be set up ready at dawn! Si
