About the Basic Shotgun Cabinets :

 

* Built and tested to BS7558:1992

* 100% Police acceptance

* Fully welded construction made from 2mm steel

* 7 lever steel locks with full length anti-jemmy return

* Interlocking door with full length anti-lever flange and concealed hinge

Legally all you have to do is store any firearm so as it is not accessable by un-authorised persons, you do not actually have to have a 'cabinet or safe' BUT it is accepted as the norm to do so and less problematic with your FEO

 

Any lockable steel type box that is secured to a wall will do there is no minimum standard

 

technically a locked room that has no windows is sufficient for a shot gun but you will get opposistion from your FEO because this is not the norm
