Paul223 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 If the gun fits correctly there is no need to look at the barrel, doing so will result in not enough lead, always look and concentrate on the bird / clay, your mind will 'see' the barrel in your peripheral vision and with practise work out the lead. Always make sure the muzzle is lower than the bird /clay and that the barrel does not break the path as this will instantly bring the eyes focus onto the barrel and not the target, resulting in the target being seen in the peripheral vision and a miss.
