10/22 for a left hander.

I'm a left-handed, and I've used several 10/22s, but never owned one. I didn't like the spent brass flying across my face, so I stuck with L/H bolt-actions (and L/H semi/auto shotguns). You may be able to get a case deflector for a 10/22 though, which I have on a Remington Fieldmaster.

I'd go for an Anschutz or CZ in true left-hand configuration. You'll buy a gun that needs very little tweaking, that's very accurate and that doesn't have any cycling issues.

Well, picked up my SYSS Custom Ruger 10/22 today and am pleased to say that as a left hander my fears were unfounded. No plroblmes with particles blowing back or dodging flying spent rounds. Think I'm going to like this gun alot.

Oh and thanks to njc110381 who answered my questions as he has the same custom ruger.

Currently being fed a diet of winchester subs without any jams so far.

cheers
