Si-Bore
Hey guys I have managed to get a good sight picture on my AYA with the use of a 6mm stick on leather comb raiser from ISIS. I don't think it looks nice and to me; shotguns, especially S/S's are a piece of art. Bending the stock is not an option as the gun is not worth a lot. I looked at fitting a adjustable raiser but my friend who is an expert with wood thinks it may be tricky. I don't want anything that looks **** on it and want to avoid covering the stock. Has anyone any other ideas that I may have missed? I just had a crazy idea of cutting the top of the comb off and adding a layer creating a sandwich then finishing it off. Obviously choice of wood would be crucial to either form a contrast or a close match. A close match would be the preference. Has anyone done anything like that?
