colin
Will mixing pigeon and crow decoys make any difference to a shoot ? We have a pigeon magnet and 21 pigeon decoy's to set out and I was wondering if putting a few crow decoys in the pattern would be a good or bad idea? Only started shooting two months ago. pigeon master
Hi Colin, welcome to the forum, You have found the right place to find everything you need to know about pigeon shooting, watch out though as some know **** all like fisherman mike, ernya ,teal, mad springer.... only joking guys calm down. My advice and I'm sure most will agree, is include your crow decoys but place them to one side of your pattern, if you watch pigeons feeding they will feed together but you will see two different groups of birds. I had a couple of hours the other day and included a couple of crow decoys to the left of my pattern and the pigeons and crows decoyed to them just fine. I had my crows about 15 yards away from my horseshoe pattern, so yes I would say get them out also. We are all learning all the time and just give different things a try and see what happens, sometimes you get a shock at what happens when you've had a little tinker with your decoys. Good luck The Pigeon Master
