StalkerTen
Here is a brilliant bit of software for all you airgunners out there, its ideal for FAC owners or 12ft lb owners as well. http://home.hiwaay.net/~ispellan/Software.html
1 of 5
Ian Pellant's program is OK but frankly is well superceeded by Chairgun. Chairgun makes Pellants program obsolete http://www.fotosoft.co.uk/chairgun/
bennyblanco
i thought he wrote chairgun, might be wrong though. i have never found it 100% accurate though, again i might be putting in the wrong info such as scope height/bc
1 of 5
Ian pellant didn't write Chairgun. The chap who did goes by the handle of Harry's Lad on the BBS. As with all things computer wise you'll only get good info out if you put good info in. Real bc is vital, not just the bc that someone-else got for that pellet. Different guns will give different bc figures for the same pellet.
bennyblanco
how does one find the correct bc mate?
1 of 5
Zero your gun at your usual range and then shoot 20 yards or so further and measure the drop. You need to measure muzzle velocity too. Chairgun has a feature that allows you to put these figures in to calculate the BC under extras / no chrono.
