TheDaveyBoy
Hi there: I have constructed a ghillie suit for myself from various materials: And have looked on the web sites for the best method: Hemp & Burlap: with a non rotting net backing has been popular; The result has been a very successful build of a hooded ghillie suit of various colourations to help blend in which is more or less the same size as a mans dressing gown ( to give an idea of size ): I've got excess material and a fabricated ghillie suit which can be looked at for construction method and tips and hits: ( will be ebayed before the summer ): However, for anyone who wishes to make a suit of their own I can do the following: 1. Give some guidance : Hints and tips with Photos: Addresses for importers of Burlap on the bobbin.. Methods to colour naturally and cheaply 2. To only one person I can provide enough material to construct your own ( but you'd have to collect ) as this would help to see the one already constructed: The material is free ( a strange a generous act in this day and age !! ) but I need the space and you should get some fun out of it too ( as most of the cost of the suit is in the manufacture not material ) SO .... Please send me PM's .. Im from the Salisbury area to give an indication of distance Thanks
