pigeon master
Hello guys I'm just asking if anyone has encounterd this before. I've had my new ESS bitch called Amber for about 8 weeks now and she has settled in well with my other dog, they play together sleep together and feed apart, if you have a springer I guess you will know why. I have noticed that my other dog Sally which is a lab cross has started to lick her non stop whenever Amber sits down next to her, Amber has started to go to other places to sleep because I think its doing her little head in. This has only been happening for a few days now and I dont understand why. Sally is very well natured dog, and was a rescue dog which was left in the depths of winter outside the local RSPCA Centre with her pups, all the pups froze to death and she was very depressed when we first got her but she is a very happy dog now. The only thing I can come up with is she is convinced that this pup is one her lost ones and she has started to do what a mother would do to her pups, you know the ususal things like licking everywhere to keep them clean. If so why didnt she do this for the first 8 weeks? What do you guys reckon...... The PM
