ogre6br
was shooting from inside the cab and didn't realize how much wind was blowing across the paddocks-- it was a good 8-12MPH cross wind- gusting to 20 MPH. With a 30 grain Kodiak doing 840 FPS with a full fill- how much would the wind have affected the pellet out to say 50 meters?? Putting aside the fact I'm a shiot shot- how much would the wind have effected the field shots?? Thanks later P
fillythebish
I wouldnt know for sure. Best thing is to practice at that wind and get used to guessing how the wind feels and matching it with your results for on the fly calculating. Also try to notice gaps in bushes on your pellets route and stuff, becaue a wind can be coming across those areas and you wont notice it. Also wind in the tree tops is often worse and less protected than near the ground.
