DaveK
right, so i know to take my insurance docs with me, but what else should i take when i go see the farmer on sat?should i take my rifle and keep it in the boot in case he asks to see it? what about a pre-filled permission form, one for him and one for me. should i make copies of things like my drivers licence or passport? Make up a pack for him. To include :- Copy of insurance Copy of memberships (BASC etc) Copy of FAC/SGC if you have one Like you said take 2 permission slips for him to sign. One for his pack and one for you. Take a map so he can mark out his boundaries. take the rifle and your shooting clothes but keep them in the boot. Let the farmer see a smart but casual (maybe ugly) shooter that isn't assuming anything. Once its signed and you've parted, get changed, get the gun out, scratch yer nuts, **** and get shooting.
