If you have not had hare before, I would suggest a young one, do not use recipes that include using the blood, port or cider, you are likely to be put off for life. These ingredients are an aquired taste (I never did aquire it) follow Salisbury keepers advice and you won't go far wrong. Oops, pressed wrong button. This should be with Martin's post.
