reedbradshaw
After work yesterday i decided id nip to my local permission for a quick hour of barn shooting..The barns are normally plagued with pigeons aftert the ground up corn. However when i got there it was a ghost town...nothing except the odd one about 60yard away! dettered not to be beaten i took my gun and a few targets from the car down the field and paced out 55 yards to see if my scope was zeroed for it. after a few tweeks i was getting 50p groups from prone. Back round the barns i rested on some hay bales (spelling!) and waited for the pigeons. 2 landed on barn roofs one about 40 yard away, the other around 50 yards. i popped the closest first and then a quick bolt later the second was down... the verdict - shooting for a hour, killed 2 birds in around 5-10 seconds....
