Garry Spencer
Hi, I am very new to this, so am asking for some help and advice. I live in France, I only go to the ball trap, (clay pigeon) as you need to take an exam in France to go hunting & my Frence is not up to that just yet, however, the Frence love to go pigeon shooting and I am trying to get a small business of the ground, to bring them over to the uk, also, maybe during the hunting season in France, visa versa. Any advise on this would be very helpful, I can arrange anything in Northern France including having a minibus, but need help arranging things in the UK, Southern England would be best, has anyone any advice? Many thanks, Garry
sodit
Hello Garry, cannot help with your question but I have a house not that far from you in Ponches-Estruval. I also shoot Ball trap for the same reason as you, my French is not so good. Im also guessing that we might shoot at the same place, Flers Balltrap as it just up the road from you. And it seems to be the nearest to me, maybe see you up there some time. Will most likely be shooting Saturday coming 14th usually arrive about 1000 to 1030 good luck with your idea. clayman
Hi, I am directly involved with many SE shooting grounds (as a Senior CPSA coach and Safety officer), and can provide introductions and contacts. I also have access to a private shooting ground with local hotel tie-ups nr Gatwick airport. This has a FITASC layout with 120ft high tower, and a 60 acre wooded shoot as well. I may be well situated to provide the connections you need at the UK end. I also have a long time friend who is a coach and shooter, both game and clays, who lives the summer in Assay, Chinin, and with whom I have been ball-trapping in France. Bill may be well situated to provide some further input on a UK - France connection potential. Please feel free to PM me for more detail.
