jef
Three cubs were spotted playing in a field right by the road side and on inspection, the grass and shrubs behind the fence were flattened out by regular playing. Lacking the time, and avioding any probs with the road I set one of my cage traps by the fence, et voila! Had a "free" rook at the door and one tied above the pedal. The one by the door was still untouched when I went to check. I've reset it but it will be interesting to see if she moves the remaining ones. If she does it will be the third earth on my shoot that has been abandoned. Jef Edited June 11, 2008 by jef

Ferretboy111
Nice work, if you took the cub with you away from the earth, she shouldnt move them. Alex

Alex I basically replicated a mink trap I have and just increased all the sizes. I started with off cuts of 2 inch weld mesh and cut out all the individual sides, ends etc. I then joined it all together with hog rings. The only other things I used were the springs for the door and a length of fence wire for the trip. Each one probably only took 45 mins to make.
