Pike
Having bumped into Nick Sotherton (GCT) at the royal show myself and guests were invited up to the GCT/ Allerton Trust research farm at Loddington last week. As some may know I run a countrypark right on the edge of Dagenham and so the thought of anything vaguely involving predator control or wildlife managment (as opposed to wildlife spectating) strikes fear into the heart of many of my colleagues. I took two others from my office, three from Thurrock council and a shooting friend from the corporation of London and have fed back to many others. We had a cracking day out, the research the Trust has been doing was set out in a very easy to digest, scientific and realistic way and Alistair Leake who co-ordinates was extremely accomodating. If anybody ever gets a chance to have a look you must go (just ring them up) . Anybody involved in wildlife managment, agriculture or just interested in the bigger picture for shooting will love it. Top marks again to the GCT and Allerton Trust :yp:
