Wookie
Ok, I admit it, this is a blatent bit of blagging, but I have to ask... DFoes anyone on the board know of anywhere within about 20 miles of Cambridge where I can live in the new year? I'm leaving my current place in suffolk (15 acres of paddocks) and moving closer to work and I'm not sure I want to live in town any more. I'd much rather have fields and the like around me and not have to worry about the cat getting run over. So, basically, if anyone knows of a farmer or something like that with a spare outhouse or something that wouldn't mind a lodger for a while, could you pass on their details? Fisherman Mike
Drop your pants and run along the contra flow on the M11 for a couple of miles and you will soon be sorted with accommodation courtesy of HM Gov. Seriously I have a farmer friend in Cambs I will have a word with him tonight and put a few feelers out. Wookie
Cheers FM. Much as the idea of being accommodated at Her Maj's pleasure is tempting, I am not sure work would be too keen on me telecommuting from a secure ward! I think I have just got too used to seeing countryside with two years where I am now. I'd stay there, but the 140 miles a day commute is slowly killing both me and the car...
