Wookie
As the title says, it's a blatent plug for Philip at Fallowfen Gundogs. Ted (15 month old ESS) has just got back from two months there learning the basics and more and is a completely changed dog. He's not a zombie (I was a bit worried about that), but he is obedient, doesn't pull on the lead, will walk to heal and responds well to whistles for both hunting and retrieving, even the stop whistle. Yes, he needs a bit more work, but that's my job to finish and I am glad of it. I am very happy with how he's turned out though and he can only get better. I'm aiming for him actually doing a bit of beating by the end of the year and maybe some rough shooting work by then too. Wookie
Lancs Lad
And how much did that set you back..........
Wookie
£560 for 8 weeks training. yes, it was a lot of money, but he provided the consistency that Ted needed and i could not provide. In shot, I got back the dog that i took there (he's still Ted), but much better than he was. I consider that a good deal.
