Si-Bore
Hey guys After my first winter of pigeon shooting out of the way I was looking forward to my first full harvest time shoot over decoys. The pigeon have never really been consistantly feeding on areas where I have shooting (which is prob 2500 acres of arable land locally). They never bothered with the rape stubble (which I was really excited about) and seem interested only in one field of swathed rape, but soon move off elsewhere often not returning. :look: I had one good day on laid barley where the farmer and I shot 232 in 9 hours (110 for me), then a day of 45 and a few days of 10-16 but thats it really. I have been doing lots of reccy work and lots of time and effort (maybe too much and scaring them off) especially over the 6 weeks holiday (I am a teacher so get the hols). Hope things change when the farmers get the last of big fields of wheat in!! Cheers Si
