lewis
Right, we have a reasonably big fight pond for ducks at the moment and their is alot of ducks hitting it. Although we have 2 resident swanns that have decided that the pond is now their home. Nothing gets them off that i have tried ( shouting, sneaking up on them and shooting the starter pistol near them) I would never hurt a swann but i dont want them getting hurt after the flight when the dogs are working. Or the swanns hurting the dogs. Is their any way to get them off the pond without phoning the rspb ? cheers
ziplex
They're either very brave or damn stupid, we sometimes have swans on a pond we shoot and you just have to let them leave when they feel like it, they take no notice of a 12g shell fired well overhead at all...just give you an evil look that only swans can do , still, nice to look at while there.
